As an infrastructure organisation Project BME would like to encourage voluntary sector organisations to be healthy and to support the most marginalised people in our communities. We have a membership ranging of over fifty voluntary community faith member groups across the Lancashire.
Lancashire Equalities was set up to help multi disadvantaged communities access mainstream services and support provision. The team are experienced and have the expertise to assist individuals and groups to overcome health inequalities and combat exclusion, discrimination and injustice. Lancashire Equalities is strategically positioned within ONE Lancashire to act as a conduit for engagement with service providers and advocate for Social inclusion in Lancashire.
The health and wellbeing of BME communities of Lancashire, By supporting the integration, empowerment and civic engagement of BME communities to address exclusion, discrimination and injustice.

Contribute to the joint strategic needs assessment (JSNA) Improve equity of access to health care and health promotion activities Improve equity in treatment and care of Black and other minority groups using health services Increase awareness and understanding of differing community needs Ensure that planning, policy development and monitoring of local health services reflect the views of black and other minority groups “
